Production Scheduler
Exempt-Non Exempt:
FT/PT Status:Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish production schedule for all jobs in the production facility, with the assistance of the Operations Manager and Production Manager; this includes knowing where all jobs are in the process, identifying what jobs are being delayed, ensuring the team knows what is coming, and making sure orders are completed and deadlines achieved.
  • Work daily with floor leads to drive the daily schedule on the floor. As part of this, identify constraints and work with the Management team to alleviate issues and communicate changes to employees. In addition, communicate to the team when the schedule or items surrounding the schedule are out of alignment.
  • Manage a balanced flow of panels through all the departments, pushing and pulling projects as needed to meet deadlines.
  • As you further understand the Company’s job flow, use discretion to determine project priorities when delays occur and modify the schedule according to the company lead time standards and manufacturing time lines.
  • Assist in correcting items and situations to meet the schedule and/or expectations.
  • Work to keep all employees in operation departments on track, limiting down time.
  • Problem solve and utilize discretion to ensure the team is meeting all customer needs.
  • Learn all aspects of the Company’s products, which includes applications, limitations, technical specifications, etc.
  • Complete corrective action, as needed, to remove roadblocks within and between departments and implement changes to procedures to improve customer service.
  • Provide feedback for improvements to the production process and implement changes as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:
  • 3+ Years of Experience in a Related Scheduling Position Required
  • Must have experience within the Manufacturing Industry (preferably 3+ years of experience)
  • Experience with custom products is preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills
