Installation Supervisor/Manager

Job Responsibilities:

This role will be based in an office setting, coordinating functions for our field team. 

  • Supervise and direct the daily operations of the Installation Department.
  • Manage the field team’s daily, monthly, and quarterly installation schedule, ensuring onsite visits are booked 2 months in advance.
  • Manage the internal Team’s daily workload, which includes enforcing a standard communication turnaround time and ensuring jobs are properly coordinated with the production schedule.
  • Distribute resources and organize team members to successfully implement action plans
  • Problem solve, as needed, to solve the customer’s pain and provide a timely resolution
  • Improve the safety performance of the field team, which includes performing random field audits to ensure policy compliance.
  • Track all open install-related issues – such as materials requested, issued equipment, or damaged property – to ensure proper resolution.
  • Hold team members accountable to departmental performance and quality standards.
  • Assist with the coordination of the on-boarding process for new hires, providing training for all new team members, as well as feedback for improvements.
  • Monitor the workload of the department, distributing projects/assignments/jobs, as appropriate, to ensure the department is meeting established deadlines.
  • Create department standards to improve the organization of the department and provide feedback for changes in process and procedure to increase the efficiency and productivity of the department.
  • Determine specific areas for improvement within the department that may require additional on-the-job training and work with Human Resources to further develop the skills of the department.
  • Set the department’s yearly goals and priorities, delegate responsibilities, and continually communicate to the team regarding the status of the goals

Job Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • Must have related Office Experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in a service and/or installation position; experience must be in the Construction Field
  • Must have previous supervisory experience
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Background in Window/Door or Glass/Aluminum Products is preferred
