Job Responsibilities:

Solar Innovations® can help take your future to new heights with the ALL-NEW Solar Innovations® Professional Glazing Program. Offered in-house at our Pine Grove, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, this paid training program has been tailored with the entry level candidate in mind. This year-long training course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a certified professional in the Glazing Industry.

Trainees will receive training in areas such as:

·         Construction Safety (ex. Aerial Lifts, Fall Protection, Crane Operation)

·         Introduction to Glass & Glazing (Glass Handling, Basics of Sealants, PPE Requirements, etc)

·         Blueprint Reading

·         Installation & Service of Windows & Doors

·         Installation & Service of Glass Structures (Greenhouses, Sunrooms, Skylights, etc.)

Note: We anticipate this training program beginning during the month of June. Participation in the program requires you to meet minimum performance expectations and attendance requirements; otherwise; your participation in the program may be terminated. After successful conclusion of the one-year training program, you will be considered for continued full time employment.

Job Qualifications:

1.      Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED

2.      Basic skills in mathematics will be required

3.      Must display a safety-conscious mindset and must have exposure to general safety requirements

4.      Candidates must have access to transportation to and from Solar Innovations

5.      Exposure to construction and/or architecture is preferred

6.      Candidates who have interest in manufacturing and/or those with related “hands on” experience are preferred
